We held a successful zoom seminar on June 6th, 2026. This zoom seminar was especially prepared for Burmese medical graduates who are thinking about moving to the United States to continue their medical careers.
Recently matched Burmese physicians: Dr. Kyi Min Han, Dr. Myo Myat Sandar, Dr. Win Marlar Kyin, Dr. San Linn, and Dr. Aye Mon shared their inspiring stories about the challenges they faced. They discussed everything from ECFMG registration and primary source verification to the ERAS application, CV writing, personal statements, research applications, observer/externship opportunities, program selection, and the ups and downs of the application process.
This year, we’re thrilled to have Dr. Yan Naung Htay, who’s graduating from the cardiology fellowship at Northeast Ohio Medical University, as our special guest speaker and he shared his insights on “Beyond Residency” to help inspire the next generation of physicians to achieve their goals.
