Dr. Than Saung Lin, President's remark for 2024
Dear BAMA members,
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you to allow me to represent BAMA this year 2024. There have been many seniors, past leaders and dedicated members who set many great examples over the years. I plan to maintain the great image of BAMA and fulfill the urgent needs of the community. I would like to promote medical volunteerism, mutual respect and cooperative partnership in our community.
Here are some of the events we plan to have this year.
1. Health talk in person or zoom person (location to confirm) April 21, 2024, Sunday 1-4 pm.
2. CPR day in-person (location to confirm) June 2nd, 2024, Sunday 1-4 pm to learn first aid care and basic CPR/ BLS
3. Residency information session on June 30, 2024. Sun 1-4 pm via zoom
4. Residency mock interview on Aug 11, 2024 Sunday, 1-4 pm via zoom
5. Annual BAMA dinner on Sep 28, 2024 Saturday 5 pm- 11 pm (location to confirm)
6. Oct/ Nov 2024: Medical checkup for Phone Phones (monks) at Azusa Phatam Pwe
