We will be holding our 2nd BAMA Poster Presentation together with our BAMA Annual Meeting & Dinner. This is an in-person event only, not zoom event.
Date/Time: October 3rd, 2026, 4:30 PM PST.
Place: Five Star Restaurant inside Hilton Los Angeles/San Gabriel Hotel
225 W Valley Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91776.
This year, we will have three different poster categories.
- Basic Science Research
- Clinical Vignette
- Clinical Research or Quality Improvement.
Abstract submission rules
- Please send the poster abstract(s) file to adminteam@bamausa.org.
- In the email, please include the abstract category and the author information including names and their affiliation. Do not include the author information in the abstract file.
- Submission deadline: September 20th, 2026.
- Abstract file format: Microsoft word file or PDF.
- Title should not be more than 15 words.
- Abstract word limit: 500 words. The title, author information, and references do not count towards the word limit.
- Include no more than 3 figures AND tables.
- Multiple submissions are permitted.
- Poster size to prepare: not bigger than 48 x 36 inch size. Poster should include title, author(s) and affiliation. Avoid cluttering the poster with excessive text. Use images, flowcharts, and thoughtful color combinations to improve formatting, readability, and visual appeal.
BAMA membership is required for submitting author, who must also be present at the event. If you are not a member yet, you may get a regular membership $350 (with 2 complimentary dinner tickets) or a student membership $160 for medical students (with 1 complimentary dinner ticket).
There will be a small monetary award for best abstract in each category.
The reviewers will not be a member of EC, subcommittee, BOD, advisory committee, or an author of a poster. 3 reviewers will be assigned by EC. If you are interested to volunteer for blinded poster judging, please let us know your availability and specialty.
