This is an in-person event only, not zoom event.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Date\/Time: October 3rd, 2026, 4:30 PM PST.<br \/>\nPlace: Five Star Restaurant inside Hilton Los Angeles\/San Gabriel Hotel<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span>225 W Valley Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91776.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This year, we will have three different poster categories.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Basic Science Research<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Vignette<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Research or Quality Improvement.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Abstract submission rules<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please send the poster abstract(s) file to <a href=\"mailto:adminteam@bamausa.org\">adminteam@bamausa.org<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>In the email, please include the abstract category and the author information including names and their affiliation. Do not include the author information in the abstract file.<\/li>\n<li>Submission deadline: September 20th, 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Abstract file format: Microsoft word file or PDF.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Title should not be more than 15 words.<\/li>\n<li>Abstract word limit: 500 words. The title, author information, and references do not count towards the word limit.<\/li>\n<li>Include no more than 3 figures AND tables.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Multiple submissions are permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Poster size to prepare: not bigger than 48 x 36 inch size. Poster should include title, author(s) and affiliation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> Avoid cluttering the poster with excessive text. Use images, flowcharts, and thoughtful color combinations to improve formatting, readability, and visual appeal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BAMA membership is required for submitting author, who must also \u00a0be present at the event. If you are not a member yet, you may get a regular membership $350 (with 2 complimentary dinner tickets) or a student membership $160 for medical students (with 1 complimentary dinner ticket).<\/p>\n<p>There will be a small monetary award for best abstract in each category.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The reviewers will not be a member of EC, subcommittee, BOD, advisory committee, or an author of a poster. 3 reviewers will be assigned by EC. If you are interested to volunteer for blinded poster judging, please let us know your availability and specialty.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We look forward to your submissions!
